Fantasy is home for me

One of my favorite genres to read is fantasy. It's what made me fall in love with reading when I was a kid, and what always gets me out of a reading slump as an adult. I feel so lucky when I get to narrate fantasy audiobooks because it doesn't feel like work at all! I'm starting February feeling so grateful to have not one, but two, fantasy series lined up to narrate. I can't wait to share more!

Narrating fantasy books allow me to live inside the story in a profound way that younger me would be absolutely jealous of. As a kid, I spent hours in my closet waiting for the door to Narnia to appear, I felt that magic was always just out of reach, and I was wholly content playing independently, surrounding myself with imaginative worlds and characters.

Whenever I begin a new fantasy series I take a moment to appreciate how lucky I am to do this for work and how proud 12 year old me would be that we are finally part of something magical.
